Throughout the year we will be running a new format of bookable Code Clinic sessions where you can discuss problems you’re having with your code, ideas for some new code or anything else related to research software. In a session you will meet with research software engineers from across the university who will be able to help you. The bookable sessions will be available once a month on Wednesday afternoons and will last about 35 minutes. We will have six bookable slots per session. See our calendar for upcoming dates.

Code Clinic sessions are open to students and staff.

Book a slot via our form. You can book from a month in advance, up to the Monday before the Wednesday session (this gives us some time to find the appropriate RSE to help you out!) Once you have submitted the form a Google Doc will automatically be generated and shared with you. Please use this Doc to provide us with more information. You don’t need to put everything in the form! You will also receive a calendar invite. If you are unable to attend the session please decline the calendar invite and the slot will be made available for someone else to attend.

Clinics will generally be in-person but you can select online on the form if you can’t attend in-person.
